Club Announcements
The Mavericks' RC flying field is open for flying in 2025! Current AMA membership is required. Club dues for this year are due by February 1st.
The field will be available for flying through August 15, 2025. We're exploring possibilities for extended flying time beyond this date. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the field!
- Mavericks' flying field has been approved as an FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA). Flying at Mavericks does not require a remote ID module for flying aircraft.
- Mavericks' R/C Flying Club currently has membership slots available for 2024 and we are accepting applications for new members currently. Apply now and join the fun.
- Charly Hermanson is offering the chance to use his buddy box to learn how to fly RC helicopters. If you are interested you can get in touch with any club officer on the contact page. There has never been a better opportunity to learn something new and fun.

The founding members of the Mavericks' R/C Flying Club created this
organization to promote a fun atmosphere for building
and flying of R/C model aircraft through the association with the
Academy of Model Aeronautics.
